Grab Hold
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. How many countless times in my own life have I come to a place where I was too full of self-illusion to see hope, let alone cling to it.

There is so much power in a friend reaching in for you in the midst of your drowning, and guiding you back to the surface so you can breathe again.
