Gods Love is
Never Ending
The Roar of Many Waters
The meaning
behind the painting below:
This is
one of my most abstract paintings but when I
look at it as the painter, it speaks volumes to
me of the glory of Christ.
This is
the verse that inspired the piece:
12 I
turned around to see the voice that was speaking
to me. And when I turned I saw seven golden
lampstands, 13 and
among the lampstands was someone "like a son of
man," dressed in
a robe reaching down to his feet and with a
golden sash around his chest. 14 His head and hair were
white like wool, as white as snow, and his eyes were
like blazing fire.15 His feet were
like bronze glowing in a furnace, and his voice was
like the sound of rushing waters. 16 In
his right
hand he
held seven stars, and out of his mouth came
a sharp double-edged sword. His face was
like the sun shining in all its brilliance.
Revelations 1:12-16
In the title “The Roar of Many Waters” this
actually was taken from Psalms 93:4-5
Greater than the roar of many waters—
the
mighty breakers of the sea—
the Lord on high
is majestic.
5 Lord, Your testimonies are completely
reliable;
holiness is the beauty of Your
house
for all the days to come.
Who is this One…this Jesus Christ? He is
the Alpha and the Omega…the beginning and the
end…our Savior…our Friend.
He will never leave you or forsake you, even in
your loneliest hour. Why should you know
Him…why should you call His name? Because
when you do you will began to feel alive more
than you ever have before.
Isn’t that what we want…to feel alive, more so
than we’ve ever been?
Have you ever sat beside roaring waters and felt
the energy from its power…down into your very
bones? Jesus Christ will surpass that…and
that power and life will flow into your very
soul, into the very being of who you are.
He will show you abundant life as you have never
seen it before…just ask.
